We at FarmCloud - team which makes Facebook Accounts for Ads, decided to make an interactive map due to the imminent addition of a tax on the price of advertising for Ukraine and Kazakhstan - it shows countries where, in principle, the tax has not yet been declared since January 2022.
Recall that an account geo and billing geo are different things, and billing geo can be set manually in the ad account settings. (instructions how to change below)
Go to the map - https://datawrapper.dwcdn.net/5mrFd/ There is nothing complicated to control: zoom in, zoom out, drag - the usual map. The main thing here is the color. Blue locations are those on which the tax has not yet been declared; on gray, the tax is added to the price of advertising in one way or another.
We will not give a specific geo to choose - then everyone will sit there and this can then come out as a problem. Choose for yourself, test and keep working successfully.
p.s. for some geos where the tax is declared, there are conditions under which it will not be added, but here not about that. It contains the most recent article updates, not to mention the fact that some of the articles that are there are completely absent in other languages.
For advertising accounts in BM, the option is given to change if, after creation, no settings have yet been applied to it. Otherwise, it will offer to create another account, and deactivate this one (if you have an account limit of 1 in BM, it will close the one that is, and a new one will not be created).
For a personal advertising account, there is always the option to change something. Yes, a new one will be created again, and the old one will be deactivated.
Go to the settings of the advertising account https://www.facebook.com/ads/manager/account_settings/account_billing/, in the upper right corner select which particular account needs to be changed, go to the section "Payment settings" (on the left is the icon of a plastic card), scroll down to the item "Company Information", click "Change"
In th"Billing Country or Region", open the drop-down menu and select the geo
Click "Save". On some of them, also asks to register the address information for saving - fill it in and then save it.
